癒しのための回り道

ロバートは47歳のビジネスマンです。彼は、最近かかりつけの医師から、日々の仕事や家庭生活で遭遇するさまざまなストレスを抱えているので、もっとリラックスするよう忠告されました。医師はロバートに、血圧がとても高いので降圧剤を飲むように言いました。職場で一流の仕事をこなし、同僚の誰からも好かれているロバートでしたが、彼は、脳卒中や心臓発作の予防のために毎日軽い運動をするようアドバイスされました。16歳になる彼の娘の一人が、24歳の高校を中退して失業中の男性と深い関係になってしまいました。ロバートは、彼女がボーイフレンドに月々の小遣いの大部分を渡していると感じています。彼の妻も、娘の学校での行動が芳しくないので、その状況を心配しています。

ロバートは降圧剤を飲み始めましたが、あまり効果がないので、医師は別の薬を加えました。けれども、予期しない副作用のために、それを抑えるための薬も飲んでいます。彼と彼の妻は、自分たちの状況に関してカウンセリングを受けましたが、明確な結論は出ませんでした。彼の友人の一人が、心の平安を得るためにレイキの講座を受けてはどうかと、彼に勧めました。じっくり考えた結果、ロバートは私のレイキクラスを受けることにしました。講座の数日後、彼は主に仕事や娘に関して癒しを得たいと思い、私との面会を希望しました。

彼と長時間にわたって話をした後、私は彼に尋ねました。「ロバート、今君が一番望むことは何ですか？」彼の答えは奇妙なものでした。「宮沢先生、私が望んでいるのは、笑うこと。心からの笑顔をすることです！」彼は心から幸せになりたいのだ、と私は感じました。彼の内なる魂が、心から幸せを求めているのです。実際、彼は、彼と彼の妻が満面の笑顔で娘二人と共に写っている古い写真を財布から取り出しました。私は、彼にその写真を毎日何度も見て、そして、レイキに全てを任せてはどうかとアドバイスしました。3週間後、彼は電話をかけてきて、血圧が正常になり、医師の投薬も1種類に減ったと言いました。また、彼は興奮して私に告げました。娘がボーイフレンドのことは考え直すことにし、学校でフラダンスのレッスンをとることにしたのだ、と。彼の話す調子から、彼が仕事でこれ以上のストレスを回避し、仕事において神の導きを求めるためにはどうしたらよいのかを分かっていることが、わかりました。なによりも、私は彼の変化に満足し、彼が上司や同僚たちとの間の問題を解決するのに最善の行動を取るだろうと確信を持っています。

癒しのためには回り道が必要なことが多々あります。私たちは物事が全て素早くうまくいくことを望みがちですが、宇宙の力が私たちのために働いてくださることに、すっかり任せた方が、癒しはより速くやってきます。是非試してみてください。ヒーリングの真実やあなたの人生の目的に気づくでしょう。恐れる必要はありません。

Healing Detour

Robert, 47 year old business man was told recently to take it easy by his physician because of many stresses he encounters daily at his work and family life. His physician told him his blood pressure is very high, therefore he will be on antihypertensive medication. While he is doing an outstanding job and is well liked by everyone at work he is advised to begin mild physical exercise daily to prevent any stroke or heart attack. One of his daughters, age 16, has begun a very serious relationship with a 24 year old man, high school dropout with no job. Robert thinks his daughter is giving her boyfriend a major portion of her monthly allowance money. His wife is also stressed about their daughter’s situation as she is not doing well in her school activities.

Robert has begun taking blood pressure pills that not quite effective; therefore, his doctor added a second medication. But because of an unexpected side effect, he is receiving another medication to take care his side effect. He and his wife talked with counselors about the situation but nothing definitive was reached. One of his friends suggested taking Reiki session for relief. After much thought he decided to attend my class. A couple of days after the session, he wanted to see me mainly to obtain his desired healing about his work and daughter.

After a long session with him I asked one simple question, “Robert, if you want only one thing now, what is it?” Strangely enough he said, “Dr. Miyazawa, I want to laugh and have a big smile!” I sensed he sincerely wants to be happy. His inner soul is dearly seeking happiness. As a matter of fact, he took out from his wallet an old picture with his two daughters, his wife and him with a big smile. I suggested looking at this picture several times each day and letting Reiki take care of the situation in Reiki’s way. Three weeks later he called me to say his blood pressure is now well and his doctor reduced the medications to only one. He excitedly mentioned to me that his daughter has second thoughts about her boyfriend and she has decided to take weekly Hula lessons at school. He sounded as though he knows what to do at work to prevent further stress within him and to seek a divine guidance at work. Above all I feel good about him and trust he’ll do the best thing to work things out with his supervisor and co-workers.

Healing Detour is necessary a lot of times. We want all things to work quickly but healing comes faster when we let the Universal Power work for and among us. Please try, you’ll find the healing truth and purpose of your life. Do not be afraid.
