癒しが訪れないとき・・・・・

毎日、世界中で何百万人もの人々が癒しを求めて祈りをささげています。それが、肉体的な病いであろうと、精神的・感情的な絶望感であろうと、あるいは、霊的人生を深く探求することであろうと。現在、私たちがおかれている状況では、癒しに神聖な介入を祈る以外に手がないような場合もあります。日々このような状況に直面し、すぐに癒しが訪れず苦しみが続くと、私たちの多くはほとんどの場合いらいらします。心の底から熱心に祈っても、神聖な介入が行われないように思えることがあります。答えを求めているこのような時に、私たちはどうしたらよいのでしょうか？

１．あなたが今体験しておられる苦しみと同じような試練をあなたの周りの人々も同様に体験していることに気付きましょう。他の人に試練に比べてご自身の体験のほうが軽いと知ることは、大きな慰めになるかもしれません。あなたが膝の関節炎で苦しんでおられても、あなたのご友人は肺がんの末期かもしれません。

２．あなたの医師と相談して、様々な選択肢を探しましょう。もし、一番目の選択が効かなかったら、二番目の選択にしたがってみましょう。二番目がダメだったら、三番目があります。鍼治療、漢方、あるいはレイキ、氣功、太極拳のようなエネルギー医療などの代替療法も是非選択肢に入れてください。あなたの医師があなたの選択したものをわかっておられて、反対をしない限り、それは大丈夫でしょう。選んだ療法で何が期待できるのかをよく把握しておくことが大切です。

３．治癒するまでに十分な時間がかかることを覚えておいてください。短気を起こしてはいけません。以前のコラム「癒しのための回り道」でもお話しましたように、回り道が必ずしも拒否を意味するわけではなく、真の癒しにとっては、そのほうがより良い場合もあるのです。このようなことを目にすることはよくあります。患者さんが様々な治療法を受けてもなかなかすぐには治癒しないとき、彼らは次の方法はうまくいくのだろうかと戸惑ったり疑ったりします。そのような時、私はよくこの癒しの回り道のことをお話しし、彼らが回り道を経なければならない必要性と深い意味を理解して頂くようにしています。その間、バランスを保つために、正しい食習慣を守ること、熟睡すること、適切な運動をすること、氣の流れを保ち続けることの大切さを説明します。

４．偉大な聖人は、自らがこの世を離れてより良い世界へ旅立つときがわかると言われています。レイキ・グランドマスターの林先生は、間近に迫ったご自身の旅立ちの時を知り、タカタ先生に全ての教えを伝え、レイキが失われずに世界へと広がっていくようにされました。私たちがすることは全てが完全ではありません。けれども宇宙は、私たちの間で起こっていることがわかっています。

５．この原理に早く気付けば気付くほど、私たちは宇宙に、そして同胞により近づくことができるのです。

６．上の美しい花は私の庭に咲いているものですが、自らが開花すべき時を知っています。この花たちも、私たち一人一人と同じように、常に宇宙の保護の元にあります。

When Healing Does Not Come - - - - -

Millions of people have been praying for healing daily all over the world, whether it is physical illness, related to mental and emotional despair, or a deeper search for spiritual life. We are placed in a situation when nothing else is possible and the only thing we can do is to pray for divine intervention for healing. Many of us are facing this situation daily and most of the time we are frustrated because healing does not come but we have to continue to suffer and wait for healing. Divine intervention does not appear to be coming although we sincerely ask for it from the bottom of our hearts. What can we do about this when we seeks for an answer?

1.Realize your neighbors are going through the same type of trial as you have been asked to go through. It may be of great comfort when you realize what you are going through is much lighter compared to another person’s trial. Maybe your friend is dying from advanced lung cancer but you have arthritic change of your knee joints.

2.Search extensively for various options in consultation with your physician. If option #1 does not work, then follow the option #2. If #2 does not work pick #3. Be sure you include so called alternative care such as acupuncture, herbal medicine, and energy medicine like Reiki, QI Gong, and Tai-chi. As long as your physician is aware of your choice and does not object, it should be OK. It is important for you pay attention to details of what offer is.

3.Please remember that you give adequate time to see healing, do not make yourself impatient. As I said in “Healing Detour” previous essay, delay does no always mean denial but these may be a better way of healing. I see this often when patients go through various treatment sessions without immediate healings they are upset and doubtful that the next approach will be of benefit. I explain this detour on healing often so that they understand deeper meaning of their necessity to go through detour. Meantime it is explained to them the importance keeping a good diet, sound sleep and proper exercise and keep the flow of Qi to be well balanced.

4.It is said a great man of God always knows when his time was coming to depart from this world for a better place. Hayashi Sensei, Reiki Grand Master, was aware of his imminent departure, thus leaving all instructions to Mrs. Takata so that Reiki is preserved and spread to the entire world. All we do is incomplete. The universe is aware of what is going on among us.

5.The sooner we find out this very principle, we will become closer to the Universe and fellow human beings.

6.These beautiful flowers found in our backyard know when to bloom. They are under the constant care of the Universe just like each one of us.
